DAY 1- TBILISI CAPITAL OF GEORGIA

Visit Old Tbilisi- Sightseeing

Tbilisi Capital of Georgia V c - Home for people with diverse cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. The name “Tbilisi” (warm) was given to the city because of the area’s curable sulfuric hot springs and the ancient baths.

• Sameba Church - Symbol of hope for Tbilisi citizen . Built up on the top of the hill with beautiful Views;
• Metekhi (XII c.) Royal residential complex, cross-domed church;
• Fortress Narikhala (IV-X cc.) –the main citadel of the city;
• The Asian- type colored bath houses (XVIII c.) hot sulfur springs, with exotic relax massage –( was a favorite place of A. Pushkin, A. Dumas, A. Tolstoy; )
• Walking tour on Rustaveli Avenue;
• Welcome Dinner in a traditional Georgian restaurant with unforgettable folk music, dance and delicious Georgian cuisine. Restaurant “Mravaljamieri” (OPTIONALY)

Day 2-Tbilis –SIGNAGI-TBILISI -(150 km)

• Town Sighnaghi- Town of love – the most popular town for brides is built on a higher hill with beautiful view.
• Sightseeing in Signagi . Royal fortified town (XVIII c.) With narrow streets surrounded by the defensive walls with 23 towers. Here was a place where the Georgian King used to join the army before the battle.

• St. Nino Bodbe Monastery Complex (IX c.)A spiritual and cultural-educational center The Monastery is famous with its a well-known St. Nino IVc. Spring attracts a lot of visitors who believe in its miraculous character.

Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day -3-TBILISI- MTSKHETA- -(60km)

• Mtsketa - ancient capital of Georgia. Known as a holy town. Located on the hill it provides an amazing view of the conjunction of two rivers. Historical places:

• Svetitskhoveli and Jvari Cathedral -(6-11^th century) the biggest Christian temple in Georgia . A sacred place where the robe of Christ is kept– both Monasteries are UNESCO World Heritage sites;
• Gori – the heart of Kartli region. Photo stop at the Stalin’s house and the statue;
• Uplistsikhe - (Fortress of God) ancient cave town – museum (1st millennium BC).
